Parents/Caregivers Orientation Evening This Week

A reminder that the parents and caregivers of our new recruits are invited to an orientation evening this Thursday, 20 March, 7-9pm at the ‘block’.

We highly recommend this session to bring parents up to speed with the processes, policies and IT platforms we use at 17 SQN.

Existing Cadet parents are welcome to come along too if they wish!

Recruit Camp 4-6 April, Burnham Military Camp

Recruit Camp is open for applications on CadetNet.

Basic information on the camp can be found on our activity forms page here: https://www.17squadronatc.com/forms/ and a comprehensive joining instruction with gear list will be issued to all Cadets attending before the activity.

Payment can be made via our shop https://www.17squadronatc.com/shop/. There is no limitation on places on this camp, so you do not need to wait for confirmation before paying.

Parking & Pick ups

We have received a complaint from one of our neighbours regarding cars being parked over driveways on a Thursday evening. Please do not park over any driveways, even if you are still in your vehicle. It’s important for us to keep up a good relationship with our neighbours!

A reminder that Cadets are to be picked up from Isitt Lane (near the Air Force Museum) at the end of the parade night, not the Corsair Drive entrance. If you are a Cadet – do not leave this area until your parent/caregiver has arrived.

Once all of our new recruits are enrolled, we will put out another carpooling survey to try and help with the logistical juggling of getting your Cadets to/from ATC.
